SATURDAY's Reggae 6 opens the weekend's two-day meet with a single-winner bonus of $14.4 million after a huge payout of $945,176 on six winning tickets, fuelled by an avalanche of upsetters, starting with MY SUNSHINE at 9-1 in the third, LAST POSSESSION at 5-1 in the fifth and closed by 8-1 springer PRINCIPAL TIFFANY in the sixth.

The Twilight 6 outdid the Reggae 6, two winning tickets, each picking up $3,036,007, the late bet turned on its head by LAST POSSESSION, PRINCIPAL TIFFANY and TEFLON DON at 8-1, one of two winners for champion trainer Jason DaCosta on the 10-race card.

Ketch 9 bets were similarly decimated by the upsetters, paying a consolation on seven winners, forcing a big $2.6m carryover to Saturday.

Whereas GIVEMETHELIGHT was guardedly touted in last week's Reggae 6 opener, obliging as a speculative 2-1 favourite, there should be no opposing UNBELIEVABLE POWER in this Saturday's first event at seven furlongs.

The United States-bred runner closed fast and furious for second behind fellow importee MULLIGAN MAN at five and a half furlongs on March 8, not asked to do too much by journeyman Ian Spence but clearly showing that she requires a distance of ground.

BOSS MAN is an appealing banker in the second, also at seven furlongs, but BOWMORE could be a spoiler on the lead, exposing the local-bred to finisher THOUSAND TREASURES and possibly an improved-looking STARRAURA.

THE TEACHA won impressively on debut after showing class in the mornings alongside grade-one stablemate, FUNCAANDUN, warranting a nod as a banker in the third at six furlongs.

The trio of MIDNIGHT RUNNER, BROMTON ALEX and BATTLE ANGEL should cover the fourth, whereas SUDDEN FLIGHT is perfectly drawn against the stands' side to go all the way in the fifth at five furlongs straight against $200,000 claimers.

CHIEF DISSIDENT also gets the thumbs-up in the sixth at six furlongs, after being outfinished by SUCCESSFUL MAN at seven furlongs on last.
