Treasure Beach FC's head coach Kemar Ricketts left the Edward Seaga Sports Complex a satisfied man after his team held host Tivoli Gardens FC to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Ricketts, who had guided Treasure Beach to five points in their last three games, believes they also had chances to get three points.

"First half we did some really good things. Second half we would have wanted some consistency, we didn't get that but we got one more point to add to what we already have," he said.

Tivoli created most of the chances over 90 minutes, with Akeil Leachman and Anthony Nelson coming closest in the first half.

Treasure Beach FC had a good chance when Jhanni Flemmings' ferocious free kick was saved by Nathaniel Francis and Raheem Porter crashed the rebound on the bar from six yards.

In the second half, Nickalia Fuller, Kavon Wilson, Trevaun McKain and Tkiven Garnett came close for the hosts.

Tivoli Gardens' head coach Jerome Waite was left ruing the missed opportunity for full points.

"You can't get so many chances and don't convert. We defeated ourselves today," he lamented.

"The connection in the final third could have been better. Overweighted passes and players choosing to kick for themselves, when we needed more teamwork in the final third and that is still eluding us," he said.

Tivoli are fifth on 27 points, while Treasure Beach FC are 12th on 20 points.
